1. ADJECTIVES
Because every noun has a gender, any adjective used to describe the noun must complement that
gender. Also, if you have more than one of a noun (plural), the adjective must reflect this as well.
Forming feminine adjectives
For most adjectives, the feminine form is made by adding an -e to the end of the masculine form.
Example:
Masculine: Il est grand.
Feminine: Elle est grande.
Here are some more examples
If the adjective ends in a silent -e, the masculine and feminine forms are exactly the same.
