37. 1. Les sciences du vivant sont un secteur de redéploiement
majeur en Wallonie et en région liégeoise en particulier et
les premiers effets (emplois, investissements) se font
sentir.
2. La comparaison avec les écosystèmes les plus performants
(Leuven, Maastricht,…) montre que la concurrence est
forte mais aussi que nous pouvons faire encore beaucoup
mieux.
3. La réussite doit s’appuyer sur une vision long terme et
nécessite une forte cohésion des acteurs publics autour
d’un projet commun

a) Compléter la chaîne de valeur des acteurs sur les
différentes phases de développement. Exemple : spin-off
conjointe CER Marche – Faculté de Médecine Vétérinaire
pour constituer un CRO Préclinique wallon
b) faciliter la transition des expertises (IP, Qualité,
industrialisation…) des PME wallonnes vers le domaine des
sciences du vivant pour capter les marchés très importants
de sous-traitance des PME life sciences (et en particulier
thérapeutique)
c) Amplifier les formations qualifiantes à tous niveaux dans le
domaine (Forem, IFAPME, Universités..)
