In this paper a new mixed nodal-mesh formulation of the PEEC
method is proposed. Based on the hypothesis that charges reside
only on the surface of conductors and that current density is
solenoidal inside them, a novel scheme is developed fully
exploiting the physical properties of charges and currents. It
comes out that the presented approach allows to reduce the number
of unknowns while preserving the accuracy. An elegant and
efficient algorithm, based on graph theory, is proposed to
automatically search independent loops on three dimensional
rectangular grids such as those arising in volumetric PEEC
formulation. The method is validated through numerical results
that confirm the accuracy of the proposed formulation from
DC-to-daylight and its capability to provide memory saving.

This project report describes the modeling, simulation, and kinematic analysis of a radial engine using CATIA V5 software. The report includes an introduction to radial engines and their basic components. It then discusses modeling the engine components in CATIA and performing kinematic analysis using the software. The results of the velocity and acceleration calculations from CATIA are then compared to approximate analytical methods. The report concludes that CATIA allows understanding the complete working of a radial engine before actual design and manufacturing.
Av nodal heart blocks by dr bashir ahmed dar associate professor medicine sop...Prof Dr Bashir Ahmed Dar
Heart block is a delay in the conduction of electrical current as it passes through the atrioventricular node, bundle of His, or both bundle branches, all of which are located between the atria and the ventricles.
Numerical methods for 2 d heat transferArun Sarasan
This document presents a numerical study comparing finite difference and finite volume methods for solving the heat transfer equation during solidification in a complex casting geometry. The study uses a multi-block grid with bilinear interpolation and generalized curvilinear coordinates. Results show good agreement between the two discretization methods, with a slight advantage for the finite volume method due to its use of more nodal information. The multi-block grid approach reduces computational time and allows complex geometries to be accurately modeled while overcoming issues at block interfaces.

Heat Transfer Characteristics of Nanofluid (Al2O3/water) in Cooling System of...Hussein S. Moghaieb
The document discusses the characteristics of heat transfer of nanofluids used for engine cooling. It provides background on using nanofluids to enhance heat transfer for applications like engine cooling where heat dissipation is important. The literature review summarizes previous studies that found heat transfer enhancement when using nanofluids like Al2O3 nanoparticles dispersed in water or ethylene glycol. The present work aims to investigate heat transfer enhancement under varying bulk temperatures, flow velocities, heat fluxes, and nanofluid concentrations to simulate engine operating conditions. It describes the proposed experimental test rig and setup that will be used to analyze the heat transfer performance of Al2O3/water nanofluids.

This file contains slides on Mathcad Functions for Fluid properties--- Useful in Convection heat transfer calculations.
The slides were prepared while teaching Heat Transfer course to the M.Tech. students in Mechanical Engineering Dept. of St. Joseph Engineering College, Vamanjoor, Mangalore, India, during Sept. – Dec. 2010.
It is hoped that these Slides will be useful to teachers, students, researchers and professionals working in this field.
Contents: Mathcad Functions for properties of:
Air, Ammonia, Ethyl alcohol, Ethylene glycol, Un-used engine oil, Glycerin, Lead, and Mercury
The team designed and built a working Stirling engine suitable for classroom demonstration that could run on solar energy. The engine uses a two cylinder inline "alpha" configuration. Through iterative testing and design refinements, the team was able to get the engine running using a handheld heat source. With more time, they believe the engine could be powered solely by solar energy as originally intended. The report documents the full design process, including initial concept selection, component design and fabrication, testing and design improvements made to optimize performance.
(1) The document discusses water supply distribution networks and their components. It describes various natural and non-traditional water sources, as well as water quality parameters and treatment methods.
(2) Distribution networks use reservoirs, transmission pipelines, and distribution mains to deliver water from treatment plants to consumers. The document discusses different network layouts and design considerations like minimizing dead ends.
(3) Pipe network analysis methods like Hardy-Cross and nodal methods are presented to calculate pipe flows and node pressures. An example applies Hardy-Cross iteration to determine flows in a pipe loop that balances the head loss around the loop.

1) Découvrez comment l'inaction, c'est-à-dire le fait de ne pas agir ou d'agir alors qu'on le devrait ou qu'on est censé le faire, est un obstacle à une vie épanouie ;
> Comment l'inaction affecte-t-elle l'avenir du jeune ? Que devraient plutôt faire les jeunes pour se racheter et récupérer ce qui leur appartient ? A découvrir dans le document ;
