curation.
4. Concepts we agree with :
• Social networks are good ways to be informed and updated concerning all the
information all other the world.
• It gives the opportunity to discover but also make discover a part of ourself to the
other people who are connected.
• People can benefit of interact with acquaintances and new people who are
faraway or very near and have different values, cultures and traditions.
• Digitization improves economic competitiveness, society, quality of life and
business potential.
5. Concepts we agree with :
• We can also broaden our professional network by using different tools such as
linkedIn,Twitter…
• Nowadays, social networks are highly appreciated by professionals and
companies because it helps to be in contact with guests, to communicate with
guests, maintain or build a brand image, it also helps to make known a company
and create a marketing buzz. It also allows to differentiate themselves from other
competitors and confirm their credibility in the targeted market by doing
advertisings via facebook, Instagram, Pinterest…
6. Concept we do not agree with:
• We really have to be careful regarding online comments in professional
environment because some comments might denigrate the image and
awareness of the company in some case.
• For example in Trip Advisor, people or even competitors post online
comments which do not reflect the truth, those elements affect terribly
the company’s reputation.
• Anybody can have access to social media, but it is important to precise
that they can also create inaccurate profile (fake profile) in order to let
negative comments about your company. (Professional cases).
• Nowadays people tend to abuse of internet, therefore, they become
addict as they spend too much time on it.
7. Concept we do not agree with :
• Private life is pretty divulged and in danger, because other people in other words
strangers can consult your posts and know about your privacy.
• Therefore, excessive posts about your privacy can sometimes damaged your
social status at work and can lead to lose your credibility within the firm.
• Once a picture, video, comment is posted, it lets a indelible mark on internet (for
example : screenshots)
• Across social media we have the chance to communicate and keep in touch with
many people all around the world, whatever the country, continents, this is the
good side … but unfortunately, the bad side is the fact that everyone is able to
find out information directly on the internet via social media and other websites,
those elements have reduced the need of communication between people.
• For example, we can observe a group of person sitting together, who are not
exchanging, communicating with each others but rather tweeting, sharing videos
and pictures on their smart phones and tablets.
8. Example :
• Instagram is an online photo-sharing platforms in which you can post pictures and short videos (15
seconds).
• Users can also comment and/or like pictures and videos.
• There is the possibility to make a link in other word share posts such as picture or video on a variety of
social networking platforms such as Facebook,Tumblr, Flickr andTwitter.
• Instagram do a good job in reaching generation C because millennials are curious and vigorous, they
like to share videos and pictures. They also highly appreciate the fact that they can
follow/like/comment/repost their friend’s pictures and videos, but not at all they can also consult the
other profile such as firm for example Four Seasons Hotel at the Bosphorus, brands such as Chanel,
Dior …
• Generation C will have the need to share something new that they received, something they had
experienced, something that happen to them, something that they seen, their holidays… Instagram
have succeed to reach generation C because this platform offers this possibility to his/her users across
the world.
• For example, a person who is very active in social media will share immediately pictures and videos
when he or she will go to visit a country (travel). They will post pictures and videos to share what they
seen and by the same time experienced when they travelled.
