For the Year 9 Speaking test, you need to prepare and learn answers to the
following questions, making sure that you include connectives, opinions and
reasons.
To achieve Level 5, you will need to include answers in the present and past tenses
with the verbs correctly formed.
To achieve Level 6, you will also need to include an answer in the near future tense.
You can use a cue card in the Speaking test which should have no more than 10
words on it and which should contain no conjugated verbs. Your teacher will check
this before you begin the test.
