1. KAREN NIETO TAPIA.

Fernando Alvarez theory vice president of Millward Brown * in Mexico: there are 3
rules that give value to a brand: meaning, difference and notoriety.
* Millward Brown: agency world-leading research, an expert in brand
communication, marketing, media research, the agency helps clients build strong
brand through qualitative and quantitative research.
The following umbrage he spoke of how the theory of Fernando Alvarez may or
may not be applied according to information found in different environments, so we
will see how feasible is the job of the vice president of a very important agency at
international level, with the help Interbrand, Conento blog, the entrepreneur and
highlevel magazines as well as the address book marketing.
To begin further have to explain what is Fernando Alvarez theory, which states the
following:
There are three essential rules that manufacturers must follow in order to have a
growth (increase in value)
Meaning: Brands need to have a clear meaning, enabling them to take a clear
stance towards certain point.
Difference: the activities that companies must take to set trends and be the most
outstanding in their activity. This will make the marks have authenticity
Fame: Being the number one customer, being present in each of the needs they
have at all times.
Another thing is the three points Interbrand points by generating value to a brand,
which are:
Fortaleza: create continuity in the future through loyalty.
Brand influence: choice via demand.
financial model: the ability of the brand to create economic value to the owner
thereof.
3. With this we can see that although both sides are similar, there are still many
things that others said they are important to create value in brand such as
marketing activities suitable broadcast channel, be clear as a company we are , we
sell, to whom we sell (target).
Thanks to all of this I can take conclusion that the theory of Fernando Alvarez,
although it is true, also makes it necessary to add the last step of Interbrand and is
one of the most important as the owner of the mark which would generate financial
model with which we will know how well or he would need financially to the brand
to be profitable because although the points taking into account Fernando Alvarez
are important to be known and generate a consumer relationship with the
customer, it is important know how are the finances of the company.
