notre système éducatif et que, dans quelques

The name MEDEA is actually the acronym for “Moving images in EDucation European Awards”.
It is an annual competition that is aimed at increasing the creative use of audio and video in education and as you can probably tell, with a very broad interpretation of the "Moving Images" part.
We invite everyone to participate in the MEDEA Awards and this means that
schools, universities, training providers but also students, teachers, audiovisual departments, for-profit organisations and companies
can take part with animations, weblectures, documentaries, videoclips, games, Second Life applications, videoblogs, podcasts, videotutorials, ...
In which we primarily are searching for creative and meaningful use of media. It has to have and give an added value to the learning taking place.
Since January 2010 we also make the distinction between professional and non-professional producers and the best entry of each category will be awarded with a prize.

Learning approach: here describe the educational approach used in the resource (this field cannot hold more than 2 values)
Authentic: refers to a wide variety of educational and instructional techniques focused on connecting what students are taught in school to real- world issues, problems, and applications
Blended: a sort of middle ground between face-to-face and fully online education.
Case-based: is a long established pedagogical method. In health professional education, learning activities are commonly based on patient cases and student learning is associated with real-life situations.
Collaborative: is a situation in which two or more people learn or attempt to learn something together. Unlike individual learning, people engaged in collaborative learning capitalize on one another’s resources and skills: “it means that students are responsible for one another's learning as well as their own and that reaching the goal implies that students have helped each other to understand and learn” (Dooly, 2008).
Experiential: is the process of making meaning from direct experience: “Experiential learning is participative, interactive, and applied. It allows contact with the environment, and exposure to processes that are highly variable and uncertain. It involves the whole-person; learning takes place on the affective and behavioral dimensions as well as on the cognitive dimension” (Gentry, 1990).
Flip teaching: Flip teaching or a flipped classroom is a form of blended learning in which students learn new content online by watching video lectures, usually at home, and what used to be homework (assigned problems) is now done in class with teachers offering more personalized guidance and interaction with students, instead of lecturing.
Game-based: is a type of game play that has defined learning outcomes. Generally, game based learning is designed to balance subject matter with gameplay and the ability of the player to retain and apply said subject matter to the real world.
Problem-based: is a student-centered pedagogy in which students learn about a subject through the experience of problem solving. Students learn both thinking strategies and domain knowledge.
Scenario-based: is a realistic situation where a sequence of events is presented and possible choices allow the learner to reach an outcome. Learning occurs when the user goes through the scenario and is guided to discover principles and develop critical competencies.
Situational: is an instructional approach developed who claim that students are more inclined to learn by actively participating in the learning experience. Situated learning essentially is a matter of creating meaning from the real activities of daily living where learning occurs relative to the teaching environment.
