Know where/how to go • Outcomes / Goals • Tools / Apps (Less is more) • Fleet configuration (Apple Configurator)
Keeping it simple... • Outcome: Students will comment/react to course docs. Teacher will reduce use of paper. • Strategy: 3 apps -> Blackboard Mobile, PDF- Notes, Dropbox • 100% reduction in use of paper • Easier document management (time saving) • Quick response/feedback to learners
Keys to succes • Pedagogy first! • Get the IT folks on board! • iPad apps: less CAN BE more! • Engage your students! • Monitor and build from there.

Apple Configurator (App Store, free) Configuring 30 iPads, iTouch or iPhones simultaneously 3 sorts of setups 1.       Configuring iPad fleet with your parameters, software, applications that you require, but iPad stays unlocked for each of the 30 users. 2.       Supervise : (new) configuring fleet of ipads (network, applications) with the parameters you want but each of 30 users cannot change configuration of their iPad (Asks for admin UN/PW). 3.       Assign : assign each ipad to a specific user.
