Loin de moi de faire un panégyrique du Front Populaire qui n’est
plus d’actualité dans la société d’aujourd’hui tellement les choses ont
changé, même si la lutte pour l’égalité de tous et la liberté de tous,
d’expression de mouvement, de travail, de pensée, de religion et bien
d’autres encore sont toujours d’actualité. Mais les mobilisations de rue
sont aujourd’hui les otages des commandos para-sociaux clandestins de
ce que certains considèrent les banlieues alors que leurs organisateurs
sont issus de la classe moyenne parfois supérieure. Le sens de l’aventure
violente n’a pas de limites mentales et encore moins de limites sociales.
Plus donc que faire le panégyrique, je vais donner en
accompagnement de documents visuels centrés sur le Front Populaire et
son époque artistique quelques textes récents où je mets en abîme le Front
Populaire comme un héritage culturel, tout comme la pièce de 1986,
“36 Sans Épouvante et Sans Souliers », était
principalement un montage de textes poétiques de l’époque et un
accompagnement musical en chansons de l’époque aussi. Le dossier
