- 3. Commands The command form of a verb is also known as the “imperative”. In English the is dropped (deleted) from a statement to form the imperative. It is formed the same way in French. Estielle presentations

- 6. Did you notice? The command form for “tu” with –er verbs is the same as the regular il/elle/on form of the verb. That is, the final “s” of the “tu” form is dropped. coute Tu é É . This only happens with the “tu” commands of “-er” verbs. ! Estielle presentations
