In our pre-clinical work, the primary focus was safety and creating consistent transmural lesions. We found that we could consistently do so using the following settings: 75 degrees C for 90 seconds. We did not have any complications to report and at 30 days tissue healing was observed without any signs of stenosis or perforation in the porcine model.
We did not see the same consistency with other settings so we chose the 75 degrees C at 90 seconds to ensure consistent transmural lesions.
